Sign&Go Edge Office 365 Configuration
There are several steps for configuring Exchange Online to allow communication between Sign&Go Edge Services.
- Create an Inbound Connector for allowing mail flow from Sign&Go Edge to Office365
- Create an Outbound Connector for sending mails for applying signatures from Office365 to Sign&Go Edge
- Create a Test Mail Flow Rule for routing mails from Office365 to Outbound Connector that we created.
- Test mail flow and signatures
- Clone Test Mail Flow Rule for creating Organization based Mail Flow Rule and configure Apply If Condition.
Preparation
You’ll need;
- IP Address(es) which Sign&Go Edge Services use to send mail to Office 365
- IP Address or Fully Qualified Domain Name for Sign&Go Edge Server which it listens mails from Office 365
- Up and running Sign&Go Edge Service for connectivity tests. This is optional but recommended.
- Open Exchange Admin Center from https://admin.microsoft.com/. The screenshot above shows Dashboard page. We’ll use Connectors and Rules page under the Mail Flow Menu Category
- Click Connectors, you’ll see Connectors Page like screenshot below

Click on the connectors tab under mail flow here
Create Inbound Connector
- Create a new connector by clicking the + sign on the add connector button. We create Inbound Connector for incoming mails.

- Add the Inbound Connector ip address sent in the attachment file and click the + button.

- Inbound Connector is created by checking the information.

- To send mail to SIGNandGO server, Outbound Connector must be created.

- We will need to add the ip address where the SIGNandGO server listens to the mails from O365 to the list. You can find the Outgoing Connector address in the file we emailed.

- To send a test message, a personal e-mail address that is not managed by the Exchange server you have set up must be entered and Verified. Depending on the email address used in O365, the send task may fail. Because SIGNandGO Edge Server has its own Firewall and domain security services and will reject mails from sources that are not defined as trusted in the settings.

- If Sign&Go Edge server is configured, up and running connectivity should be Succeeded. If the validation step fails, you should proceed by selecting the Yes, I Proceed option. Click Save

- In the next step, we will create a test email flow rule that forwards outgoing emails to the outgoing connector we created.

- First of all, we name it for clarity.

- If you want to test the rule on a few of your users for testing purposes, we'll add them to the if you follow this rule option.

- Then we proceed from the Do the following option.

- Click on Enter text in message header option and type “x-signandgo-thumbprint” and click on save button.

- In the Value enter text field, you must enter the thumbprint key in the file we sent in the mail.

- Proceed by selecting the message header in the Except if step:

- Enter “x-peakup-signature” to the title value and press the save button.

- Enter “true” in the Value enter text field and click the save button.

- By clicking the + option, we add one more to the except if option.

- We select the Calendaring value by clicking the Select one button.

- We go to the next step.

- We review and save the rule.

- The SIGNandGO Rule should be at the top of the rules that modify the email content. Change the priority value to “0” to move the rule to the top.

- Test Phase rules are defined. You can complete your tests by sending an e-mail to the people selected in the apply this rule if option defined in the rule.
Extend across the company
Click on duplicate to make a copy of the rule

- Give the cloned rule a new name. It should be a descriptive name like “SIGNandGO Prod”

- You can edit the Apply this rule if field according to the structure in your organization. To add your domain addresses, you must follow the instruction below:

- The domain addresses you will write here should be written in accordance with the regular expression.
- After saving the rule, do not forget to set the priority value to "0" so that it can work properly.

- You can disable the Prod rule you have created throughout your organization until you edit your signatures and groups in the SIGNandGO Administration panel.

- After editing your signatures and groups, you can close your Test rule and activate the "Prod" rule that you have prepared throughout your organization. 🎉
