Using Priority Scores in SIGNandGO

This document outlines the steps to manage and utilize priority scores for user groups in SIGNandGO effectively.

 

Step 1: Access the Group with Priority

  • Click on the pencil icon of the group with Priority 6.
  • Adjust the priority score by increasing or decreasing it as needed.
  • Navigate to the User Groups tab to view users included in this group.

 

Step 2: Explore User Assignment Methods

  • Understand that users assigned to the group can be determined by various methods:
    • Filters
    • Memberships
  • Exit this view and check the group with a priority value of 7 in the Groups tab.

 

Step 3: Edit Group with Priority 7

  • Click on the Edit icon for the group with Priority 7.
  • Note that the user in this group is the same as in the previous group, but the signatures assigned may differ.

 

Step 4: Review User Signatures

 

  • Check the priority value of the group.
  • Click on the Users tab to search for the user analyzed earlier.
  • Click on the 'Go to Detail' button to view the signatures associated with this user.

 

Step 5: Identify Signature Priority

  • Review the different signatures defined for the user.
  • The signature with the highest priority score will be displayed at the top.

 

Step 6: Forwarding Signatures

  • Be aware that the signature with the highest priority score will also appear when the mail is forwarded.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that changes to priority scores are made carefully to avoid miscommunication or errors in user assignments.
  • Regularly review user groups to maintain accurate priority scores.
